"For over one hundred years, WSU Extension has provided research and education believing in the basic democratic principle that informed citizens will voluntarily protect and steward our valuable public resources."

WSU Water/Beach Watchers
The Water Beach Watchers program educates residents about water and water quality.   Following a training by local and regional experts, WSU links you to stewardship, research projects and education in the watersheds of Jefferson County .

Shore Stewards
Shoreline or streamside landowners are welcome to join the growing number of Jefferson, Kitsap and Mason County residents in this stewardship program.  Shoreline landowners can have the most direct impact on the marine and nearshore environments.  This program will help you learn about how to minimize these impacts.
